Saturday, September 28th

• One of my favorite events of the year this festival has some of the best artists in the DC area and is set in historic Washington Grove amongst towering walnut trees. There are food trucks (including an ice cream truck), music, and activities for children.

Alexandria's Chalk-a-block Day

Sunday, September 29th

• This fun event where chalk artists and various craft vendors are set up throughout north Old Town. I will be outside MadeinALX  from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. There will be live music by Maddie Cantrell. There is a chance this event might be pushed back to October 13th if we get too much rain from Hurricane Helene (chalk and rain do not mix). The city will post on the website if there is a change, and I will also update this website.

Art on the Avenue

Saturday, October 5th

• The granddaddy of shows (https://www.artontheavenue.org/). There will be over 200 artists, 25 food vendors (plus the restaurants of Del Ray), and 4 music stages at this regional multicultural art and music festival. Lots of activities for kids. I will be in my usual spot, across from the 7-11 store (E61).

Del RaY vINTAGE AND flea mARKET

saturday, October 12 13th

(and the second saturday throughout the year)

• I will be in my usual corner of the small lot with a great selection of pots from recent firings and planters, as well as pots from Frug's Room (discounted seconds and 'last year's models).  The are lots of great vendors as well as a food truck. This was named the best flea market in Virginia.

Fairfax Funky Flea

Saturday, October 26th

• This fun and funky flea market in Fairfax City with a great selection of venders and food.  I'll have 'fresh' pots from the previous week's firing in Pennsylvania 

• Saturday: 9:00-3:00

• One block from Main Street (4031 University Avenue, Fairfax, VA)
