This yunomi was selected by jurors (J. Gregg and P. Jakuowski) for inclusion in the 2016 national cup show at Clay Arts Vegas, Las Vegas, NV. The wood fired stoneware cup (3x3x3) was fired on the bagwall of the second chamber with an oribe glaze. It is high fired (2,400F), and like all of my work is dishwasher and microwave safe.

All pots are high fired (2,400F) stoneware or porcelain. They are wood fired in a wood burning kiln for over 24 hours. As the flame crosses the pots, iron is drawn to the surface so the flames 'draw' permanent flashing marks on the pot, and the ash melts to form a glaze. All work is food safe, and dishwasher and microwave safe.
