These shallow bowls (0.5"x3") are perfect for soy sauce, mustard, or whatever sauce you prefer. In our house they are some of the most frequently used pots, whether it is my kids' vitamins, my wife's teabag, or her earrings. They are wood fired, and dishwasher and microwave safe. Be sure and specify whether you want the golden shino, green, or blue glaze.
Sauce bowls
The pots are high fired (2,400F) stoneware. They are wood fired in a wood burning kiln for over 24 hours. As the flame crosses the pots, iron is drawn to the surface so the flames 'draw' permanent flashing marks on the pot, and the ash melts to form a glaze. All work is food safe, and dishwasher and microwave safe.
