These lobed jars (5"x5") are handy for a multitude of uses. Whether used for coffee beans or sugar in the kitchen, a dog treat jar at the door, cotton balls in the bathroom, or trinkets and change in the bedroom. The shino glaze ranges from orange to a golden brown, and nicely compliments the effects of the wood firing. This is a representative image.

The pots are high fired (2,400F) stoneware. They are wood fired in a wood burning kiln for over 24 hours. As the flame crosses the pots, iron is drawn to the surface so the flames 'draw' permanent flashing marks on the pot, and the ash melts to form a glaze. All work is food safe, and dishwasher and microwave safe.
